A new version of the Court Availability Schedule has been published. There is only 1 sheet to cover both summer and winter, as these are practically identical to each othe, now that we have floodlights.

We now have our new floodlights installed on courts 3 & 4.  Thanks to Graham Hearl for his substantial efforts in ensuring we jumped through all the hoops to get planning permission and to Geoff Mullens and Paul Buckingham for negotiating and managing the successful contractors.

The Christmas American Tournament was cancelled owing to expected heavy rain, but this did not dampen our festivities. The rain stopped early in the afternoon and a good contingent turned out to hit some soggy balls around the artificial grass courts.

Others dropped into the clubhouse for mulled wine, mince pies, sausage rolls, and a chat. A few ventured upstairs to the games room for table tennis, and discovered that, although some hadn't played for decades, their demon skills quickly returned.  Perhaps more use will be made of this facility, now that Geoff has invested in new bats.
